These trousers are inspired by a dress from the 1960s-1970s, which featured this mustard yellow couching, a style of embroidery in which a cord is laid on fabric in patterns and secured with short perpendicular stitches. We reproduced the original couching along the hem of these purple velvet trousers, which are cut with a mid-rise and a straight leg.
