These shorts are inspired by an antique quilt. A Thousand Pyramid quilt is one of the oldest blocks, allowing a quilter to utilize small scraps of fabric.  The shorts feature approximately 400 sewn triangles. The shorts silhouette is reminiscent of traditional rugby shorts worn throughout Canada with a short inseam and wide leg opening.
